We are a grunge rock band based out of Los Angeles, CA. We’ve all been making music for over 10 years and have gained a loyal following among grunge and metal enthusiasts. Our sound is a mix of classic grunge, thrash metal, and hard rock with a heavy dose of attitude and raw energy.

Each member has a unique history of how we all ended up here with this project. Michael or "Meikie" studied music at a college in Los Angeles. There he honed his musicianship abilities and mastered his craft under the teachings of Danilo Lozano, Teresa LeVelle, Stephen Cook and Scott Wolf for guitar and composition. After his education, he decided to start his performance career and eventually found himself with Alec Nystrom as a co-founder of Blackwater Reds.

Alec has been in bands since he was a little hell-raiser. Studied under George Boravich and John Avila of Oingo Boingo, his expertise ranges from classic rock to pop, and funk to metal; the dude is a musical chameleon. After meeting Meikie in a previous musical project, the two decided to establish this project that we know today.

Damian joined the group in 2020 after the band needed a new guitarist. He had engineered, mixed, and mastered the bands first LP, so it was a no-brainer to have him as a new addition to the group. Not to mention the decades of experience he has as a musician. He studied with Kenton Youngstrom as well as Allen Davis and Jocob Mossman in college; there he studied Classical Guitar and Composition. Damian has written a litany of compositions for soloists, chamber ensembles and his own symphonic metal project, OTARAXIA.

Victor is the group's newest addition, joining the band in 2021, With experience in Punk, Indie Rock, Jazz, Folk, and Metal, we were ecstatic to have his fearless energy behind the kit. Victor's skills were developed from the teachings of Ralph Penland and Steve Brooks. He has a Swiss -Army Knife of drum technique and a welcome addition to this band.

  

Every show we play, we draw people in. They feel our music from down the street as we blast our amps and rattle the walls. With all of our very different musical influences (Foo Fighters, Metallica, Oingo Boingo, Meshuggah, Dream Theater, Primus, Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, Death Cab For Cutie, Queens of the Stoneage, etc.) our music belongs everywhere and nowhere at the same time. But no matter where we go or where we play, you'll never forget the energy that we bring to the party.
